Our mission at Peter Nguyen Photography is to capture every detail of your unique love story through images on your wedding day, which you can treasure for the rest of your lives together.
Though we enjoy doing editorial and fashion shoots, we choose to specialize in love. Shooting weddings is one of the biggest responsibilities, but also one of the most rewarding. This is your day, and we strive to capture the spark that makes you unique as a couple and as individuals. We look for authenticity, and the connection between you as a couple, as well as with your friends and family. Our favorite part of capturing weddings is exploring new cultures, learning about your most valued traditions, and traveling all over the world to be with our couples. We want you to be elated when you look at your images and think “yes, this is authentically and perfectly us.”
We often look to our idols for inspiration to help us keep perfecting our craft. As one of our idols Steve McCurry once said, “the best pictures are the ones that tell a story and take us on a journey.” We strive to emulate this in every single one of our shoots. We want to tell the story of you and your love. No two couples are the same, and should not be reflected in the same way through imagery. We are constantly changing and adapting to capture what makes you and your story special. We also admire photographer Annie Leibovitz. Her work has been featured in several top magazines and used in movies, such as the new Cinderella. Her work is editorial and technically exquisite, yet she captures the human element with grace. She is the epitome of what we want our work to be.
We also have a philosophy that a photo’s final home is meant to be in print. Just like your love, print is eternal. When we create an album with your precious photos, we want you involved in every step of the way. We design the album specifically for you in a way that reflects your personalities, your values, and your traditions.
Our passion for capturing weddings has placed us among the top 5 percent of wedding professionals nationwide year after year. This magazine features the best of the best in the wedding world, and is known as a trend setter with high- fashion, stunning imagery. Our studio is based in Southern California, but we will travel all over the world to connect with you on your wedding day. We accept a limited number of weddings and magazine assignments each year so that we can provide you with our full attention and deliver impeccable, authentic images every single time.
